Extract from Wikipedia Brahmanical Tradition Cosmogony and the Antediluvian history [ edit ] According to the Vedic traditions, human history proceeds in cycles, dependent on the evolutions and dissolutions of the world. Time is divided into four ages – Krita Yuga , Treta Yuga , Dvapara Yuga and Kali Yuga – collectively forming one Maha Yuga . Seventy-one Mahayugas form a Manvantara , a period of time over which a Manu presides. In each cycle, this Manu is the first man and also the first king and lawgiver. Every Manvantara has its own set of Indra , gods and seven sages. Fourteen Manvantara create a Kalpa (aeon) , after which the creation comes to a close in a periodical destruction called Pralaya . After that, the creation starts all over again in an endless cycle of evolutions and dissolutions. The traditions relate that the present Kalpa is called Varaha . Out of the fourteen manvantaras ...
Today I would like to discuss few cases of Aerial warfare Strategy which would elicit the importance of Strategy in the aerial warfare.

Battle of Britain - The Battle of Britain is a major aerial battle that happened between Britain and Germany and it was a Stalemate with British at a slight advantage in the war.The Germans planned to attack the Britain and thought about the various methods like Ground War,Naval War and Aerial War and finally thought the Aerial war is the best option to gain victory quickly as there is sea in between Europe and Britain and Royal Navy was very powerful during this period. They first resorted to attacking air bases in UK and it was a sudden attack without any warning and then they started attacking few telecom towers which were the back bone of the radar system but stopped in between as this did not yield the quick victory or surrender they were expecting.British has anti air craft guns deployed in various places near airbases and also had radar system which helped them predict the incoming of airplanes and they has various spies and sky gazers deployed all over the country and a communication network which would pass on the information very quickly to the central air force command system. The British lured the Germans into a trap by attacking the industrial bases and also cities and they knew very well that it would trigger a same response from Germans and shifted all the industrial production to different places and had built underground tunnels to lodge people when the cities will be attacked. The Germans fell for the bait and started attacking the cities which was a strategic mistake and because the British had radar system and spies they were ready for this response and deployed the fighter crafts quickly and since the Germans has to cross the English Channel and attack they had a limited amount of fuel supply they have to attack quickly and leave and if they engaged ina prolonged warfare they will most likely run out fuel or fall in the english channel running out fuel and many German aircrafts were lost by this Strategic mistake and the war eventually become an attrition war and became a Stalemate. The Germans later deployed Air Missiles to target London but most missed their targets or were ineffective in making Britain surrender.
Battle of Longewala- During this war also the aerial warfare strategy was used very effectively to score a victory over Pakistan.During the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War the Pakistan Airforce bombs multiple Indian airbases and send a massive number of tanks and infantry to attack India on the desert border and they are stopped by infantry divisions and anti tank divisions on the border for an entire day and a message is sent to the Indian Airforce nearby about the attack and luckily the few fighter aircrafts were left there and didn't leave the air base nearby the attack region and the Indian Airforce launces a aerial attack on the Pakistani Tank and infantry and with no Airforce to defend them and with no anti air craft guns and caught in a desert where maneuverability is very difficult most if the pakistani tanks have become sitting ducks which Indian Air force has shot down precisely and accurately and thus won the war for India.
US-Iraq War- The Stealth Aircraft which was not detected by any of the Radar systems was used first by the Americans against the Iraqis during the night and most of the Strategic places of importance linked to Military,Politics,Administration and Communications were bombed with pinpoint accuracy and victory scored in the war.
