Image result for recruiting in criminal enterprisesImage result for dawood and his henchmen
In India the recruitment in Gangs and criminal enterprises happen in places where there is rampant poverty and a congregation of people who are ready to fight and kill other people and think that this is the right way to live their lives.Th reason why people join Gangs which are criminal enterprises in India is because the people who join want to make quick money and also want support system that they get by joining such criminal circles. Most of them are orphans, some whose parents are very poor and are caught in a vicious circle and are not born with values and capabilities to become literate, some join them so that they can get the prestige that they are the henchmen or follower of some macho individual and can get some respect in the society.

There are some places in India where people are ready to murder other people as low as 5000 rupees and this is the profession which they do from generations. The Modus Operandi of the criminal enterprise is extortion, grabbing lands, murder, violence, smuggling, running a parallel government and criminal justice system and getting a share from running this and also protection fees.

Most people join these Gangs because they can become rich easily,to feel that they are a part of group now and if something happens then the group will save him. They can get easy loans from banks by using influence so that they can build houses for themselves and their family. They can get false prestige in the society by showing their muscle power and their affiliation with the top muscle men in the place they live. They get their share of the criminal enterprise profits. Some just join these gangs to settle personal scores as they cannot justice by approaching the criminal justice system. Some join these gangs because they are violent in nature and have no values and they get pleasure by harming others and showing their superiority over others, some join these gangs as they believe humans are similar to animals and the same jungle law applies to human world also that the might is right.some join these gangs to make a living and they are very committed to this profession and some join these for the glamour and influence and money that this profession yields so quickly to the person who is at the top of the pyramid.some become criminals just because they have been made criminals by some influential people by using power and some join because they have no other option left to survive and lead a decent life, some join these gangs as it is their family business.

A Lesson from the great book -Mahabharata - telling this is what happens when rogues are at the top positions and are responsible for running the state.

The lesson from Mahabharata that one person like Duryodhana is enough to make a mighty empire like Kuru to crumble and shatter to pieces is forgotten by people and as long as there are differences in economic and financial life between groups of people living in the society and as long as people do not have values and do not adhere to them and as long as there are very few people in the state who made money and gained power by rogue ways hold all the resources, money and power in the nation then the nation becomes full of rogues and can also become one day a war state.

III. FACTIONALISM: HISTORICAL AND SOCIO ECONOMIC ORIGINS  This chapter attempts to analyse the nature of factionalism and the reasons as to why it is fraught with culture of violence in the Rayalaseema region and also to trace the growth of factions in Kurnool district from pre-independence to postindependence period. The present scenario indicates that the armed factional culture is prevailing in the three districts, Kurnool, Cuddapah and Anantapur of Rayalaseema. While landed disputes, conflicts for personal prestige and dominance characterise the politics in the state, it is in Rayalaseema that they lead to murders and counter murders as the factions are armed factions. The other question as to why in Rayalaseema in general and specifically in Kurnool district,...
