Time is divided into four ages –  Krita Yuga ,  Treta Yuga ,  Dvapara Yuga  and  Kali Yuga  – collectively forming one  Maha Yuga . Seventy-one Mahayugas form a  Manvantara , a period of time over which a  Manu  presides. In each cycle, this Manu is the first man and also the first king and lawgiver. Every Manvantara has its own set of  Indra , gods and seven sages. Fourteen Manvantara create a  Kalpa (aeon) , after which the creation comes to a close in a periodical destruction called  Pralaya . The Plight of Farmers in India

Image result for plight of farmers in indiaImage result for plight of farmers in india

The farmers are a community which bring food to our table and should be held in high respect and a civilized society should make sure that they live a decent life. But in this world where most of the countries are ruled by despotic rulers, criminal minded politicians and corrupt rulers and rulers who have hidden agendas and ruling for their personal gain rather than society welfare we cannot expect such a living standard for farmers which a civilized society can give.

In India the farmer community is in a desperate situation from which only God can save them. Many farmers are committing suicides and some are not even getting the minimum cost of production which they invested in farming and are dragged into vicious debt traps which they can never escape because of the loans they take at high interest rates to undertake the farming enterprise .The fake seeds, costly and fake pesticides further add to these woes of the farmers. In Andhra,Telangana  and in most of India the farmers are unable to get any profit from sales of lentils, cotton, mangoes and potatoes and are dumping their material in farmer markets unable to get any profits from their enterprise as the traders who collude together and form a cartel and artificially decrease the prices of the farm products so that they can benefit and make sure the farmer gets pretty much no profit. These traders also resort to selling the farm produce to Government Godowns so that they can get the Minimum support Price from the Government by using fake farmer identification cards and are also resorting to transport the farm produce to near by states so that they can make profits. The same trader community sells the farm produce at very high cost to the retailers who sell it at very high cost to the end consumers.

The Government of India has made Minimum support price mandatory for several farm produce but most farmers still complain that the MSP is still very less and doesn't yield any significant profits to the farmers. There is corruption in granting the MSP to the farmers by various Government officials. The farmers have to give a certain amount as gift/commission to get the MSP for the farm produce. The Grameen Banks have been started in India so that they can help the farmers and the rural community but most these banks have Non performing Loans/Assets on their balance sheets which need to be paid back by the Government and which becomes an important poll plank for many political parties and since the farming community comprises of 70-80% of the Indian population the vote bank is very huge and cannot be ignored.

Certain new initiatives like Organic Farming,Polyhouse Farming can help the farmers and some governments like Telangana are providing subsidies to farmers so that the farming community can once again enjoy the lost pride and self respect which they deserve. The new budget has provided large allocations towards the farmers and have provided an Universal Insurance and Healthcare policy for every farmers which is a good thing which can reduce the plight of this huge community of farmers .The Telangana Government has a Mission Bhagiratha Irrigation projects which has Rs.22000 crore allocation to make the land arable and water available for farming which is a good initiative. The 24  hour electricity to farmers is also a very good step the Telangana Government has taken to uplift the farmer community in the state. But more needs to be done by the people,Agricultural research universities and farmers themselves and the Government so this huge problem can be eradicated.

Anantapur district which Ram Gopal Varma turned into a movie 'Rakta Charitra'. Two generations have been brutally eliminated in the nearly four-decade long fight between the families of Suri and Paritala Ravi. The Story of Vijayawada- An Article from Andhrastoriesblogspot.in

Vijayawada…..What is so special in this name?  it’s a great railway junction. It has a living river flowing by its side. It has given India its national flag. It was a place where great leaders who played a crucial role in the Indian independence struggle were born.It has one of the shakti peetas.  It has one of the biggest bus-terminals in the world.  It has the most comfortable weather , an all-time spring scenario. It is a center for education. It is the place where the leaders of the cinema industry were mentored. To put it in one sentence “It is the place where people think!” On the other hand it is that place in India which is only next to Mumbai in terms of rowdy sheets. It is the place rowdies have ruled for decades. It is the place where a girl who steps outside the house is so insecure.  Apart from rowdy history which Ram Gopal Varma is portraying there is the other dark side. It has become a fashion to kill in the name of love. And all started here...
