Desert Warfare Strategy

Image result for Desert warfare

The Desert Warfare is different from other warfare in terms of lack of water and difficulty in maneuvering the tanks and use of Camels for quick transportation and also the sand storms and extreme weathers like hot days and cold nights.

The Deception tricks are used in the Desert warfare like fake army bases and fake airport bases to divert the enemy and dummies of tanks and soldiers and entire army base are created by craftsmen and artists in order to deceive the enemy that it is a real army base and sometimes to lure the enemy into a trap and also to keep booby traps which get exploded when the enemy arrives at the dummy army camp.

Sometimes fake airbases are created and lights and display is shown in the desert warfare that the enemy fighter jets think that it is real and attack the fake base thus losing the valuable ammunition and bombs need to fight. The supply chain is also huge in desert warfare and the local groups support is very important if we want to secure victory.Attacking the enemy supply chain and depriving him of resources like food and water could allow you to win the war without losing lives of soldiers.

Sudden Air strikes on enemy tanks and infantry and supply chains by deploying spies and also gathering information by sending one's own army staff to the enemy camp and sometimes sending fake maps of supply chains and air bases and plans to trap the enemy are tactics deployed in Desert warfare.

Entire British tank division  was obliterated by Italian army and anti tank and tank divisions by setting up  dummy tanks in the front and dummy soldiers in the front while the real army and tanks wait behind and they lured the british tank division into a mine and destroying the remaining by anti tank weapons and infantry. The German Tank division was destroyed by British by  using the deception tactic by sending one army officer to the enemy camp with a fake map and a fake plan that there is a dummy army and tank camp and the real army and tank divisions already left and the army officer sacrificed his life to make the Germans believe that it is a real map and there is no real tank divisions and army there and once the Germans walked into the trap the British being already ready for the Tank warfare set mines and brought more tanks and infantry and destroyed the entire German Tank division.

The British used to deploy film artists and film setting makers to create and artificial air base and put the lights to give an impression that it is a true air base and the German air crafts used to launch bombs on this fake air base. Thus Deception,Booby Traps,Better Tanks,Passing Misinformation,Spies,Retreating and Grouping up again, choosing the place of fight which is advantageous to the army,Raiding the enemy supply chains and Infiltrating the enemy army and Combined attack by Infantry,Tanks and Aircrafts,Attacking in the enemy when Sand Storm is there and taking the cover of the Sand Storm to launch a surprise attack on the enemy and stealing the enemy technologies and advanced weaponry designs and intercepting the enemy communication networks and application of stealth technology aircrafts will help in scoring a victory in the Desert Warfare.

Modus Operandi of Factionalism in Rayalaseema-Extract from Shodganga

III. FACTIONALISM: HISTORICAL AND SOCIO ECONOMIC ORIGINS  This chapter attempts to analyse the nature of factionalism and the reasons as to why it is fraught with culture of violence in the Rayalaseema region and also to trace the growth of factions in Kurnool district from pre-independence to postindependence period. The present scenario indicates that the armed factional culture is prevailing in the three districts, Kurnool, Cuddapah and Anantapur of Rayalaseema. While landed disputes, conflicts for personal prestige and dominance characterise the politics in the state, it is in Rayalaseema that they lead to murders and counter murders as the factions are armed factions. To this issue people mythically remark that the 'soil' of Rayalaseema is known for such behaviour and its water nourishes it. They also attribute it to the "water" of rivers like Kundu and Handri' . The other question as to why in Rayalaseema in general and specifically in Kurnool district,...
