Timeline of Hindu Mythological History

Extract from Wikipedia Brahmanical Tradition Cosmogony and the Antediluvian history [ edit ] According to the Vedic traditions, human history proceeds in cycles, dependent on the evolutions and dissolutions of the world. Time is divided into four ages –  Krita Yuga ,  Treta Yuga ,  Dvapara Yuga  and  Kali Yuga  – collectively forming one  Maha Yuga . Seventy-one Mahayugas form a  Manvantara , a period of time over which a  Manu  presides. In each cycle, this Manu is the first man and also the first king and lawgiver. Every Manvantara has its own set of  Indra , gods and seven sages. Fourteen Manvantara create a  Kalpa (aeon) , after which the creation comes to a close in a periodical destruction called  Pralaya . After that, the creation starts all over again in an endless cycle of evolutions and dissolutions. The traditions relate that the present Kalpa is called  Varaha . Winter Warfare Strategy

The invasion of Russia by Napoleon and Hitler are two classic examples to study Winter Warfare Strategy.Napoleon has pretty much conquered entire Europe and then decided to even conquer Russia and marched his army to conquer Russia but to his dismay he has lost the war and has to run for his life and for the survival of his army. The Russians deployed the Scorched Earth Strategy and burnt all the towns and took all essential supplies with them from the cities before evacuating them and burning them.Napoleon has successfully marched on Moscow and conquered it but there was no resistance and the Army General of Russia waited till the Winter would arrive so that the army of Napoleon without food and long way to travel back to France would run out of food supplies and eventually would starve to death.Napoleon on realising this immediately asked his army to burn Moscow and then retreat to France as he knew that if he would stay in Moscow for long he would not be able to feed his army and there could be a rebellion and his entire army would starve to death but in the meanwhile while Napoleon's army was retreating to France the Winter has set in and most of his army died because of extreme cold weather conditions and because of lack of food. The Russian army which till then has accumulated all the food supplies and was in the jungle with huge army numbers started attacking the French army by Ambushing them and by using Guerilla tactics and also raiding them to deprive them of resources with lighting strikes and thus Napoleon has for the first time lost the war and proved to be vulnerable and lost huge army in the campaign.

Similar is the case with Hitler and his German army which to frighten Britain and to make sure that Britain would surrender has invaded Russia breaking a pact with Stalin( who hid himself in Solitude on knowing Hitler's betrayal and because Stalin has purged all the talented military leaders so that he can stay in power was frightened that he would get defeated in the German attack but Stalin still had One Army General Zokhov who could save him from humiliation and betrayal). The German army has invaded Russia and by using Blitzkrieg and superior Tanks has managed to defeat Russia in many small confrontations and has conquered many cities. The Russians again deployed the same Scorched Earth Strategy and started taking all the food supplies with them and burning the cities and were testing the German Strategy and Tactics with minor confrontations and the Russians has consolidated their entire army in Stalingrad and were waiting till the Winter would set in so that they can  use the same tactic of Starving the German army to death by lack of food .In the meanwhile Hitler has ordered his army to invade Romania as he was in dire need of Oil and Romania had huge Oil supply with them. The Germans after capturing Romania has again invaded Stalingrad and were faced with stiff resistance and the Winter has crept in and most of the German army which was not prepared for Winter warfare and has not brought Winter wear and food supplies with them has frozen to death and the remaining army froze to death while retreating to Germany. The few air strikes which Luftwaffe carried proved futile and there was delay in supplying winter material to the German army and the Russians by this time had perfected Tank design and gun design and were proving to be a better match for the Germans. The Germans eventually lost the war with Russians and most of the German army died in this campaign.

The Story of Vijayawada- An Article from Andhrastoriesblogspot.in

Vijayawada…..What is so special in this name?  it’s a great railway junction. It has a living river flowing by its side. It has given India its national flag. It was a place where great leaders who played a crucial role in the Indian independence struggle were born.It has one of the shakti peetas.  It has one of the biggest bus-terminals in the world.  It has the most comfortable weather , an all-time spring scenario. It is a center for education. It is the place where the leaders of the cinema industry were mentored. To put it in one sentence “It is the place where people think!” On the other hand it is that place in India which is only next to Mumbai in terms of rowdy sheets. It is the place rowdies have ruled for decades. It is the place where a girl who steps outside the house is so insecure.  Apart from rowdy history which Ram Gopal Varma is portraying there is the other dark side. It has become a fashion to kill in the name of love. And all started here...
