Seventy-one Mahayugas form a  Manvantara , a period of time over which a  Manu  presides. In each cycle, this Manu is the first man and also the first king and lawgiver. Every Manvantara has its own set of  Indra , gods and seven sages. Fourteen Manvantara create a  Kalpa (aeon) , after which the creation comes to a close in a periodical destruction called  Pralaya . After that, the creation starts all over again in an endless cycle of evolutions and dissolutions. The traditions relate that the present Kalpa is called  Varaha . Urban/City Warfare Strategy

The Battle of Stalingrad is a classic example of studying the Urban/City Warfare Strategy. The Russians had stood ground to the last minute to defend Stalingrad and have turned the multi floored apartment blocks, factories, warehouses, street corner residences and office buildings into a series of small fortresses with 5 to 10 infantry men and few snipers. The army was constantly sent additional troops by sending army from the Volga. When a small building turned fortress was taken then an attempt was made to retake it with fresh army units. This war has turned into a close quarter combat war with close gun fights and even fist fights. The Russians has smaller guns and pistols which were very effective in close quarter gun shot combat while the Germans heavier and advanced guns were not suited for the close quarter combat fights in the city. The Germans did not use the tactic of taking the city house by house but instead marched into the city and had used air planes to bomb the city. Winter Warfare Strategy

The invasion of Russia by Napoleon and Hitler are two classic examples to study Winter Warfare Strategy.Napoleon has pretty much conquered entire Europe and then decided to even conquer Russia and marched his army to conquer Russia but to his dismay he has lost the war and has to run for his life and for the survival of his army. The Russians deployed the Scorched Earth Strategy and burnt all the towns and took all essential supplies with them from the cities before evacuating them and burning them.Napoleon has successfully marched on Moscow and conquered it but there was no resistance and the Army General of Russia waited till the Winter would arrive so that the army of Napoleon without food and long way to travel back to France would run out of food supplies and eventually would starve to death.Napoleon on realising this immediately asked his army to burn Moscow and then retreat to France as he knew that if he would stay in Moscow for long he would not be able to feed his army and ...
